High Power Rocket

After building Karman Mini I decided I was going to build a rocket capable of dual deployment (drogue parachute deployed at apogee and main parachute deployed closer to the ground) as well as get my Level 1 certification (launch on a H-class motor). Below are some pictures of its construction.

For dual deployment, I planned on using an Eggtimer Quantum. I created a 3D-printed mount and powered the altimeter with a 350mAh LiPo.

I launched the rocket at Midland Rocketry Club on a G-class motor with motor ejection (only one parachute).

The rocket was successfully recovered after reaching an estimated 340m.

Next, I hope to paint the rocket and launch it on a more powerful G-class motor with dual deployment. If that goes to plan, I will launch on a H-class motor for my level 1 certification.
